Palatable: Pleasant tasting (in terms of food). Also means “Acceptable” ~ “Agreeable.

Palatable is an Adjective and used in its different meanings to describe food (pleasant tasting) or situations (agreeable to the mind and feelings).

Derived from Palate - the roof of the mouth. The Palate was originally expected to have the sensation of taste.

What wonderful website! You have found an interesting and feasible way to make vocabulary "palatable" :-) for those who may not necessarily enjoy learning it! I could see my students really liking this website. Undoubtedly, many teachers would enjoy the availability of this site as well. Nice work!! Keep it up
