Gephyrophobia: An abnormal fear of Bridges / crossing bridges.
Pronounced as Jeff + I + Row +Phobia.
If you remember our concept about roots, you should be able to identify the Greek Phobos as a root meaning “An abnormal fear“.
The other root in Gephyrophobia is Gephyra (Greek) meaning bridge.
Situational Use: As the driver approached the bridge, he trembled with fear as he imagined his car overturning and falling off the bridge into the river below. He was suffering from Gephyrophobia.Liked it? Subscribe to daily updates from Weboword – Vocabulary Visually! by Email

Do you suffer from gephyrophobia (http://ping.fm/exRSH) when crossing over from Web 2.0 to Web 3.0 http://ping.fm/ZwlOw ?
We @ WeboWord hope that we aren’t faced with gephyrophobia while transitioning from Web 2.0 to 3.0, but certainly change is painful and requires effort to deal with.
What is this hype about web 3.0? Isn’t it just speculation into where the internet is heading? Even so, I do feel slightly gephyrophobic about crossing over.
